The person receiving care can pass this on to the caregiver.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In-Kind Care Benefits: <\/strong>If a professional care service <strong>provides <\/strong>care, the recipient is entitled to care and support services as well as assistance with household tasks. These services are billed directly to the long-term care insurance fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Combined Benefits: You <\/strong>may also choose a combination of cash benefits and in-kind care benefits. If an outpatient care service is used only partially, the recipient remains entitled to a pro-rata care allowance. The person in need of care is generally bound to the combination of services for half a year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Characteristics of Care Level 1<\/h2>\n\n<p>Care Level 1 is designed to <strong>maintain and restore independence and prevent the need for more intensive care<\/strong>. The individuals in question require only a minimal amount of assistance, for example, with personal care, leaving the home, or managing household tasks.
